Overview

SimpleClosure is seeking a Community Manager to directly support our partnerships team and help elevate our brand’s presence nationwide. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our community-building efforts, curating and executing memorable events that bring together key players in the startup and legal ecosystems. This role is perfect for someone who is very well organized, meticulous, creative, scrappy (with startup experience), resourceful, and adapts quickly. This position reports to the Head of Growth. 

Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Execution: Organize and host small dinners, lunch-and-learn sessions, and networking events across the country.

  • Conference Engagement: Plan and coordinate our participation in industry conferences and tech weeks, ensuring we make a lasting impact.

  • Community Building: Cultivate relationships with founders, lawyers, and VCs, creating authentic connections and fostering a strong community.

  • Travel: Organize company events and conferences, traveling approximately 30% of the time.

  • Swag & Gifting: Manage the design, ordering, and distribution of branded swag and thoughtful gifts for events and key partners.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the partnerships team to align event strategies with broader marketing goals.

  • Budget & Logistics: Handle event budgets, vendor relationships, and all logistics with precision and creativity.

  • Metrics & Reporting: Track event success and gather insights to continuously improve our community engagement efforts.
