This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for managing the relationship between Solidigm and Dell by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at the account.
The successful candidate will be able to understand and represent the customer needs within Solidigm and form trusted relationships both externally and internally to meet and exceed customer expectations.
The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding our customer's requirements and influencing Solidigm's business decisions on a regular basis to maximize business opportunities and outcomes.
They will be responsible to drive strategic and tactical business conversations and leverage their leadership skills and business acumen to achieve growth in sales and design wins while building customer loyalty with the goal to expand market share and revenue.
They will help establish influential executive relationships at the account(s) with key procurement, engineering and operations personnel and orchestrate winning strategies leveraging those relationships.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
Ensure that goals are consistent with Solidigm’s strategic direction of: (1) maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term and (2) increasing the preference for Solidigm architectures among assigned customers.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly billings and design win quotas.
Managing opportunities from discovery to revenue using CRM tool(s).
Generate Market Intelligence to assist in making strategic business decisions.
Coordinate all customer activity across multifunctional Solidigm teams.
Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination.
Listen, understand and respond professionally to customers while engaging in business discussions spanning pricing, contracts, supply, operations, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.
Develop a clear understanding of Solidigm business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution, and code of ethics.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related degree aligned with the required experience.
5-7+ years of relevant sales experience in semiconductor, technology, or related industry.
Travel as required.
Located in Austin, TX
Knowledge of the SSD industry and competitive landscape.
Strong technical aptitude and interest in data storage technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in data center cloud sales, business development, or system and storage architecture.
Previous technical sales or customer-facing role focusing on Dell.
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $192,390 to $308,810. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
