Job Details:
This position is located at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in North Austin.
Work with the Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG) HR team to assist with processing temporary employee requests and assignments, scan records and manage employee files, and process student assignments and tuition payments. Assist the Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG) staff and researchers with general HR questions and inquires. Assist with recruiting efforts. Work with several UT departments including, but not limited to, the central Human Resources Department, Jackson School of Geosciences Dean's office, and the UTemps office. Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED and 2 years of administrative work experience. Experience using Microsoft Office suite. Experience using Outlook e-mail. Ability to work well in a team setting. Ability to work with people from many different backgrounds. Ability to meet deadlines.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Bachelor's degree. More than the required number of years' experience. Experience working with UT systems such as Workday and DEFINE is highly desirable. Experience in an academic setting. Interest in or experience in human resources.
$51,000 + depending on qualifications
