Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

This position will be based onsite (with 3 remote Fridays per month) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Here's what you'll do (Under supervision and direction of Communications Specialist):

  • Support management of internal communications platforms. Including but not limited to onsite tv’s, bulletin boards, campus signage, and interactive touch screens
  • Audit media platforms for current content and any errors that need resolution
  • Create high-quality and engaging content across various channels
  • Work closely with other departments to align content with overall communications and trade marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Serve as administrator and producer on monthly companywide Webcasts
  • Create and distribute trade marketing collateral, including promotional material, sell sheets, and digital content
  • Prepare and organize promotional materials, product samples, and event supplies
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing trade shows, expos, and industry events
  • Administrative duties as assigned to support Communications and Trade Marketing team

Qualifications

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

 

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
