Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with over 3 years of expertise in Java, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications. They will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure best practices are followed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide innovative solutions.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience (3+ years) working as a Software Developer with a focus on Java, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and software development best practices.
Proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and others relevant to application deployment and maintenance.
Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and writing efficient SQL queries using PostgreSQL.
Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical domain industries is highly desirable.
Familiarity with DB2 database is a plus.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
