Job Description

Purpose:

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will be part of the Global Product Services group that oversees product lines for the company. As a TPM, you will work with the program management and the engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions for clients and partners.  You will participate in solution architecture design and API specifications to ensure that the solution is extensible and can scale to support multiple regions.  This role is an individual contributor role dedicated to agile processes working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities

  • Help solve problems at a global scale or for specific countries or regions

  • Lead backlog refinement, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories in partnership with our technology and product design teams

  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical functional requirements and be able to articulate those to the engineering team

  • Work with the team to support new innovative features and products

  • Partner with the product delivery and commercialization teams to create support and training materials for internal and external users

  • Participate in mitigating impediments to successful team completion of release and sprint goals

  • Keep relevant in agile best practices and trends

  • Communicate clearly and regularly on timelines, product features, and enhancements to cross-functional groups

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to internal teams and key clients

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualification
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline. In lieu of a
degree, a high school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of related
experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience, will be considered.
•5+ years’ experience in technology as a developer or technical product
manager.
•Strong knowledge of agile and project management tools such as Jira, Jira
Align, Confluence, and road mapping applications such as Air Focus or
Roadmonk.
•Solid understanding of software application architectures, databases, APIs,
etc.
•Ability to use data to drive decision-making.
•Reputation for being a collaborative thought partner and business leader, with
the ability to organize and motivate work across multiple team boundaries.
•Demonstrated ability to think strategically and effectively communicate and
present.

Preferred Qualification
•Payments industry knowledge: 3d Secure
•Proven track record of planning and rolling out large-scale product launches.

from complex or technical ideas.
•Demonstrates an understanding of core business drivers that influence the
operational and financial results of a program or commercial release.
•Strategic, well-organized individual that pays attention to details.

•Successfully handle multiple priorities against tight deadlines.
•Analyze the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions for
the broader market.
•Proficient in running cross-functional meetings to clarify, define, and track
client and market opportunities.
