Williamsburg Learning is seeking a remote Billing Clerk to assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, and vendor inquiries while supporting our educational mission. This is a part-time role (10-15 hours per week) offering growth opportunities in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities: Assist the Billing Accountant with invoicing, purchase orders, collections, and parent communications, while managing accounts payable and supporting state education scholarship programs.

Skills: Strong communication skills, reliability, and proficiency in Google Workspace. Experience in bookkeeping, Quickbooks Online, and Bill.com preferred.

Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include bookkeeping or finance experience; general knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Location: REMOTE - Utah and Colorado based Only

Compensation: $20 - $20 / Hourly

About the Role

Note: The responsibilities of this position will primarily be done remotely. Additionally, this position may act as a Substitue or Guide for our in-person Adventures program during the school year.

Assist the Billing Accountant with various tasks ranging from accounts receivable purchase orders, invoicing, and collections to responding to parent communications and employee/vendor A/P inquiries

Accounts Receivable

● Purchase order processing

● Collection on Self-Pay Families

● Assist with Invoicing

● Correspond with parents/partner schools

● Record & allocate deposits

● Parent and/or charter outreach/communication

Accounts Payable

● Assist in paying vendors/employees

● Assist with vendor/employee inquiries

● Assist in year end 1099 processing

Organization

● Continued learning with state education scholarship programs

● Assist with growth management of state education scholarship programs

● Documentation of procedures in Asana/Trainual

● Task management in Asana

● Fluency in multiple platforms: Trainual, Asana, SIS, Hubspot, Zoom, Quickbooks Online,

Grow, RingCentral, Google Workspace, LastPass, ClassWallet, Bill.com, Paychex, Loom etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Reliable land dependable
Your own computer, internet, and sufficient web cam/microphone
Accessible during work hours of 9am-4pm MT (Accessible to answer questions & attend meetings. The actual work does not need to happen during this time)
Available for weekly team meetings - usually mid afternoon.
Google Workspace experience (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Chat, etc.)
Strong communication and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bookkeeping or finance experience
Quickbooks Online & Bill.com experience
General knowledge of A/R and A/P
