Zayo is seeking a results-driven Director of Product Management to lead a key portfolio within our Fiber and Transport business. As the Director of Product Management, you’ll operate as a business owner for your product line, accountable for P&L performance, roadmap execution, and commercial success. You’ll work cross-functionally with finance, engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams to drive growth, improve margins, and optimize the customer experience.
This is a high-impact role suited for someone who blends strong product instincts with financial acumen, has experience navigating complex organizations, and is motivated by turning strategic intent into business results.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your product line—from vision and strategy to execution, pricing, and performance.
Manage the financial performance of your portfolio, including revenue growth, cost management, margin improvement, and forecasting.
Define and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
Partner closely with finance to ensure accurate modeling, budgeting, and P&L tracking.
Work with engineering and operations to translate strategy into clear product requirements, user stories, and delivery timelines.
Drive cross-functional alignment across product, sales, marketing, and service delivery to ensure smooth go-to-market and in-life performance.
Develop pricing strategies that reflect market value, cost drivers, and growth objectives.
Lead ongoing analysis of product performance metrics and customer insights to identify opportunities for optimization or innovation.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform roadmap decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA a plus.
Minimum of five (5) years of product management experience, preferably in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or B2B technology.
Demonstrated experience with P&L ownership or financial accountability within a product line.
Strong understanding of unit economics, pricing models, and financial planning.
Experience leading product development within an Agile environment and working closely with engineering and operations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across departments and present to executive stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with product management and analytics tools such as Jira, Aha!, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
Estimated Base Salary Range: $114,900 - $164,200 USD/annually.
The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
