Account Executive, Vendor Sales

Zola is seeking an exceptional Account Executive, Vendor Sales to help grow the number of small businesses on Zola’s Wedding Vendor Marketplace. 

Zola’s Wedding Vendor Marketplace helps engaged couples find and connect with local wedding professionals (venues, photographers, florists, and more) to plan the wedding of their dreams. Our Sales team plays a critical role by growing our supply of wedding vendors to meet the demand of Zola’s large, fast-growing base of couples.

We're looking for a self-starter who can ramp quickly, manage a high-volume pipeline of leads, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the entire Sales team by sharing with and learning from colleagues. This job is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, organized, persistent and adaptable. A scrappy startup mindset and positive attitude are key.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage a strategic pipeline of prospects and consistently perform against a monthly quota of new vendors added to our platform
  • Accelerate the lifecycle from first touch to win and push the upper limits of conversion rates within the team
  • Manage an outbound sales process, reaching, identifying, and converting decision-makers through a high volume of cold calls and emails on a daily basis.
  • Become an expert on Zola’s vendor-facing product offering in order to sell effectively and answer questions.
  • Partner seamlessly with cross functional teams, such as Vendor Onboarding and Account Management.
  • Synthesize and quantify feedback and blockers heard through customer calls and communicate to the larger team
  • Use a data driven mindset to identify where your funnel & process can improve
  • As part of the Sales team, you will contribute directly to the success and growth of the company

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of experience in a high volume sales role
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; able to give strong and persuading product presentations by phone/zoom
  • Positive attitude and a drive to win.
  • Ability to represent Zola, be the voice of the company, and interact with vendors in a professional manner
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment with constant change 
  • Able to remain cool, calm, collected and organized, even in times of high volume
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Creative problem solver; someone who is a self starter and rolls with the punches
  • Must be able to learn new programs and system functions quickly
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar systems is a plus
  • Experience with or knowledge of Marketplaces is a plus

The salary for this role is $70,000 ($50k base + $20K variable)
