HR Coordinator (Contract)

The People Experience (PEx) Coordinator position is at the front line for employee support to respond to inquiries, explain PEx policies and processes, and support the PEx Generalist team to execute employee life cycle transactions in Workday.  This role also works closely with the People Operations team to execute transactions and resolve issues.


This is a year long contract position.


In this role you will:
  • Provide exceptional frontline support to crew members by addressing first-level queries/requests, directing complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate teams, and guiding crew on company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with PEx Generalist team and cross-functional HR teams (such as People Operations, HRIS, People Partners and Payroll) to ensure the timely execution of business and Workday processes such as employee data changes, data validation and ad hoc reporting. 
  • Support process transformation projects by documenting current processes and contributing to process improvements. 


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience HR operations or coordination role with direct employee interaction and support
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality including data protection and handling
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and follow through on issues to completion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with all levels of the organization and strong written communication skills for documenting and updating processes
  • Workday experience 
  • Adept in G-Suite and or Microsoft Office


This is a contract position and employment for this position will be through a vendor contracted with Zoox. The pay range for this position is $37 to $47 per hour and you will be eligible for a benefits package as offered by the vendor.
