The Sr. Payroll Specialist II contributes to AHF's mission under the general direction of the Associate Payroll Director. The Sr. Payroll Specialist II will coordinate and perform all activities necessary for overseeing the payroll functions in an accurate and efficient manner. This person will be responsible for processing payroll(s) for 2900+ employees, which includes garnishments, processing multi-state payroll, personnel action forms, distribution of payroll reports, and working closely with the HR department. This role requires someone who has well-developed verbal and written skills as it will be required to consult with management, and employees, as well as regulatory and outside agencies.
This role demonstrates passion in data accuracy and timely processing of payroll cycles to ensure AHF’s payroll compliance with applicable regulations and AHF’s policy and procedures.
As a team member based in Los Angeles this role works directly with the Payroll Department Team and AHF staff, as well as government agencies, auditors and/or other companies (payroll vendors) to resolve related problems and provide information.
This role adds value to AHF and Department by ensuring smooth payroll processing operations.
