Position Summary
The Commercial Credit Training Manager supports Busey’s Commercial & Wealth Leadership Development Institute and its participants through management and training of new program recruits. The Manager supports recruitment & hiring, onboarding, credit and WM line of business specific training and curriculum rotations, while directly training year one program participants.Benefits and Compensation
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $68,000 - $94,000/year)

As the Commercial Credit Training Manager at Busey in Champaign, IL, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of talent within the Commercial & Wealth Leadership Development Institute. You'll have the rewarding challenge of managing the onboarding and training of new associates, guiding them through their development as Commercial & Wealth Analysts. Collaborating with different departments, you’ll create meaningful curriculum rotations and facilitate tailored credit training sessions to ensure that participants are well-equipped to handle the complexities of commercial credit assignment. Your expertise in financial data such as cash flow and profitability will be essential in helping to determine the right risk levels for extending credit. Not only will you evaluate loan grades for compliance with regulations, but you will also maintain open lines of communication to ensure timely underwriting is achieved among your team. Additionally, you’ll assist in hiring efforts by attending job fairs and networking events, all while contributing to a thriving workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance and a minimum of three years of hands-on Commercial Credit experience, your background will empower you to excel in this leadership role at Busey, where your impact will shape the financial futures of both associates and customers alike.
