About us

We are a fast-growing team on a mission to reimagine the analytical workflow and make data actionable to all parts of a business.

The Count canvas combines the power of a data notebook with the collaborative workflow of digital whiteboards. We’re often referred to as the “Figma for data” because of the way Count transforms the way data teams work and communicate with the wider business through greater transparency and trust.

We launched in September 2022 and have seen the canvas concept explode with over 50k canvases created to date and some of Europe’s best startups such as Cleo, BeautyPie, TooGoodToGo and Omnipresent join us as customers.

What you'll do

We’re looking for a true design superstar to help us evolve Count into an established, cohesive BI brand. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a comprehensive evolution of our identity from seed-stage to world-class

  • Own and execute our website and marketing materials

  • Create cohesive brand collateral across GTM and Sales

  • Enhance our onboarding experience with intuitive UX and own the blending of our marketing presence into our product

This role has future growth potential to build and lead a design team as we scale, expand into product design, and shape our overall design culture and process.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a track record of designing world-class software brands. You have 5+ years of design experience in software, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment building brands or products from 0 to 1 given a broad and ambiguous scope.

  • Can own end-to-end design process. We’re a small but mighty team. You’ll own the design, build, and execution of the website and other collateral.

  • Bring a wide range of hands-on design expertise. You are willing to do whatever it takes to best understand user needs and deliver value from user research, usability testing, interaction design to visual design.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced & ambiguous environment. You feel comfortable working quickly and iteratively.

  • Seeks ownership. You own your work, approach problems critically, and take pride in what you build.

Our interview process will cover:

  • An initial conversation so you can ask any questions you have about Count and we can learn more about your experience and interests - 30 mins

  • A deeper chat with our CEO to understand the role and your matching skillset - 45 mins

  • A Portfolio Review with our CTO and Product Marketing Lead to dig a bit more into your process - 1 hour

  • A final meeting around Count fit with members of our GTM team - 30 mins

The CEO chat and final meeting will take place either virtually or in London, depending on where you're based.

Count is a remote-first working company. Most of our team is based in the UK, however we believe great work can happen anywhere and we’re happy to consider exceptional candidates from anywhere in Europe, South America or eastern United States (+/- 6 hours of London).
