Sr. Manager SAP Accounting

Job Summary

The SAP Accounting Sr. Manager will support the Procure to Pay and Corporate Accounting functional areas through SAP implementation. Post-implementation duties will include process enhancement and optimization.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities

• Finalize design and build activities related to in progress SAP implementation 
• Lead System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing for Procure to Pay and Corporate Accounting functional areas
• Support testing for various Accounting functional areas 
• Design and perform or review data validation procedures
• Serve as Superuser to assist with rollout and ongoing training
• Collaborate with SAP implementation and other business partners, both internal and external 
• Document, review, and enhance processes various Accounting functional areas 
• Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Qualifications – External Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree from an accredited institution
• 3 or more years of experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience using SAP S/4HANA

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or CPA
• 5 or more years of experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of procurement and payables principles and practices
• Understanding of accounting concepts
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of accounting systems/software 
• Familiarity with SOX standards
• Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to manage projects and work independently
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well spoken-exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions
• Ability to analyze complex business issues and make sound decisions
