We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join DailyPay’s Accounting team. This position will report to the Director of Accounting and this role will require you to work across the broader organization, up to and including senior management. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic leader who seeks broad responsibility and wants to make a difference.

Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and fluctuation analyses as a part of our month-end close process
Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and Sarbanes-Oxley
Work with our internal and external audit teams to support the audit by reviewing and providing support in a timely manner
Identify, propose and drive process and efficiency improvements to month-end close process and other accounting processes
Establish strong relationships both within Finance and cross-functionally
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Preparation and/or reviewing of financial statements and other filings
Perform ad hoc assignments when needed
3+ years of Accounting experience
Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines
Bachelor’s Degree in business/accounting/finance; advanced degree a plus
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CPA)
