Mandate:
Reporting to the Director of Customs Services, the Customs Manager (E-Commerce) is responsible for managing the e-commerce brokerage team, ensuring the appropriate and efficient delivery of customs services to Delmar clients, as well as ensuring company goals and targets are met. The candidate will be managing and participating in the development of customs processes, service platforms, and productivity output. The candidate will also be responsible for addressing client queries and supporting positive relationships with them and relevant government authorities.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the customs brokerage industry at a supervisory or management level
• College Diploma in International Transportation & Customs or related field is preferred
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, regulatory requirements, profit & loss management, accounting, and CSA.
• CCS, CTCS, LCB designations are preferred
• Experience in CargoWise One system or related windows-based brokerage systems is considered an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
