Job Reference #311874BRJob TypeFull TimeYour roleReporting into the Global COO for Corporate Debt Financing the scope of the work you will carry out includes:• maintaining the operating effectiveness and integrity of the FTB control environment by working with key stakeholders and control functions on both strategic and day-to-day issues• monitoring the various control processes to ensure adherence to a robust control environment through periodic risk assessments and regular key metrics reporting• coordinating the weekly production meetings including preparation of meeting materials and minutes• ensuring that the financial MIS used to manage the business is correct and timely• working in collaboration with business heads in developing the strategic plans and budgets• production of management and business presentations as needed• serve as business project manager for new business initiatives and complex transaction approvals within product areas of responsibility• analysis of market data to explain and support financial results/business plans• costs management, including conferences and other non-personnel costs• reporting and controlling non comp HR data including headcount and organization• ad-hoc projects and deliverables in support of the broader GB COO and AMER regional teams.Detailed salary information:• New York: the salary range for this role is $168750 to $206250The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. For benefits information, please visit ubs.com/usbenefits .Your teamAs a member of the wider Global Banking COO function and the Americas GB COO team, you will also work closely with the business managers on cross-collaborative projects across the wider firm and in other product verticals within Global Banking.Your expertise• previous experience within one or more of the following roles is highly desirable:• COO, Business Management or Banking Operations• Major Accounting or Management Consulting Firm with specialization in Banking or Finance sectors• Investment Bank Product Control and Business Risk Management• knowledge of broadly syndicated loans and other debt products is essential• ability to understand new issues and processes quickly and determine priorities based on business need and benefit• strong focus, drive, and commitment with proven track record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard• strong understanding of data analytics and management information to drive decision-making through automation and efficiency• high level of numeracy, with proven strong analytical and problem-solving ability• excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Power Point and Excel• facilitation and co-ordination skills with the ability to manage busy, high-priority workload with tight deadlines• strong interpersonal skills; comfortable in facing off to people at all levels of seniority; good at building a network of contacts across the business, logistics and control functions and within the business management team• enthusiasm and ambition to succeed in this challenging roleAbout UsUBS is the world’s largest and only truly global wealth manager.
