We are a leading children's sportswear company doing business in licensed and private label with ALL major retailers across the USA.

Salary: $60,000–$65,000

Job Description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Associate Designer to support our Design team across all private label business or licensed. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for color and print, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Experience with Walmart is a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator
  • Prepare comprehensive tech packs for production
  • Uploading information to factories using our PLM system
  • Participate in fittings and track sample corrections
  • Support the team in maintaining organized and up-to-date design files and documentation
  • Work with cross-functional teams and manage clerical tasks related to design and development
  • Work with color and print selection with a strong understanding of trend relevance
  • Apply knowledge of garment construction to ensure accurate design execution
  • Assist in trend research and mood boards

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience as an Associate Designer, preferably in children's apparel.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of Photoshop

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet quick deadlines

  • Solid understanding of garment construction

  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
