Lime is hiring a Regional Inventory Manager to join our Supply Chain team! As a Regional Inventory Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing inventory operations across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency to support our growing business. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
What you will do:
Regional Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory operations across multiple warehouses, hubs, and third-party logistics partners within the region. Ensure accurate stock levels and efficient distribution to meet operational demands. Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including stockouts, excess and obsolete inventory, and distribution efficiency. Leverage data to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Inventory Optimization and Demand Planning
Develop and implement regional inventory strategies aligned with company goals and growth plans, ensuring optimal inventory flow and storage solutions. Oversee demand forecasting and inventory planning to balance supply and demand, reduce excess inventory, and minimize holding costs. Partner with senior leadership to forecast regional inventory needs, align with business objectives, and drive operational efficiency across the region.
System and Process Management: Oversee inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite or ERP software) to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency. Drive process improvements and implement best practices for inventory control and data reporting.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage a team of inventory specialists and associates across the region. Oversee hiring, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with supply chain, logistics, planning, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow. Collaborate with other regional managers to share best practices and standardize processes.
Regional Project Management: Contribute to the development of regional strategies for managing seasonal peaks, special projects, and other operational needs.
Reporting and Data Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to track inventory performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Use data to drive decisions, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities for improvement. Manage the regional inventory budget, focusing on cost optimization by balancing holding costs, procurement, and transportation expenses.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (required).
5+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-location role.
Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems (NetSuite or Oracle). Google Sheets experience is a plus.
Proven ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and optimize inventory strategies.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop talent.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and present to senior leadership.
Ability to lead the organization through changes with a positive attitude – a team player with a “can do” attitude.
Certification in Planning and/or Inventory Control and Management is preferred (CPIM, CSCP).
Fluent verbal and written English language skills
