We're looking for a talented Product & Research Sourcer to join our growing talent team and help us identify exceptional engineers, researchers, product managers, and designers who will build the future of AI-powered creative tools. In this highly strategic role, you'll develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines across our technical and product organizations.
You should be hyper excited about AI and exceptionally curious; be a 1% able people-person and able to own a mission-critical workstream for Luma as a company.
What You'll Do
Implement multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates with expertise in AI research, software engineering, product development, and design
Build and nurture talent pools for both immediate needs and future growth across research and product teams
Leverage innovative approaches including GitHub mining, academic paper analysis, boolean string creation, and targeted community engagement
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand detailed requirements for roles in multimodal AI, computer vision, frontend/backend engineering, and product design
Create compelling outreach messaging that effectively communicates Luma AI's mission and opportunities to passive candidates
Track sourcing metrics and continuously optimize strategies to improve candidate quality and conversion rates
Research and implement new sourcing tools and techniques to maintain competitive advantage in talent acquisition
Build diverse talent pipelines by identifying candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences
What We're Looking For
3+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably in AI, ML, or creative technology companies
Proven track record of identifying and engaging passive candidates for technical and product roles
Strong understanding of technical concepts in software engineering, AI/ML, and product development
Exceptional research skills and ability to identify relevant candidates from non-traditional sources
Experience with advanced Boolean search techniques and sourcing platforms
Data-driven approach to measuring sourcing effectiveness and pipeline quality
Excellent written communication skills for crafting personalized, compelling outreach
Experience with modern ATS systems (Ashby preferred) and tools like Seekout, Juicebox, Zapier/Make, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms
