A Day in the Life
This position will lead a small team for Facilities, ensuring facility assets maintain optimal function and performance.This role will be onsite at our Mounds View office
- Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facilities or campus, including custodial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance, are implemented and carried out in a safe & timely manner
- Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion
- Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
- Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs
- Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department
- May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Must Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of Facilities experience
Nice to Have
- Class A Office Building Facilities experience
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree
- Strong verbal and written communications with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with vendors
- Facility Manager Certification (CFM)
- Working knowledge of maintenance operations, administrative services, contract management, security, janitorial, and grounds maintenance
