Job Description

The Plant Human Resources Manager will be accountable for delivering human resources leadership for a manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives and promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.

The Plant Human Resources Manager will:

  • Manage labor relations (including involvement in union meetings, grievances, and negotiations)
  • Drive Talent Management processes
  • Conduct employee investigations
  • Have extensive experience with change management 

The Plant Human Resources Manager should have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading union relationships
  • Experience with data management
  • Ability to manage the discipline process
  • Expertise coaching and counseling employees at all levels within the organization 
  • Experience supervising payroll
  • A service-oriented approach to working with others

 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree required
    • At least 5 years of professional HR experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
    • Experience in a union environment is highly preferred 

    Additional Information

    What we offer at O-I:

    Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
