Talent Aquisition Specialist

Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the sourcing of high volume direct recruitment  candidates, both active and passive, for dedicated positions and potential future staffing needs.  The role also offers the opportunity to work in a global team that partners closely with hiring managers in the attraction, shortlisting and interviewing of applicants for specific positions and offers a high level of visibility within the North American businesses. The core remit for this role focuses on high-volume direct recruitment covering all 5 sites in Wisconsin and Minnesota for Ornua Ingredients North America (OINA).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of high volume end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from talent attraction through to job offer and on-boarding. This includes role scoping, advertising, screening and assessing candidates, arranging interviews, feedback and job offers.
  • Source candidates through a variety of methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, online job boards, recruitment agencies, universities, networking, referrals etc.
  • In conjunction with hiring managers, draft fit for purpose and engaging recruitment adverts that strongly reflect the Ornua Employer Brand.
  • Build and maintain partnership relationships with hiring managers to fully understand their business area and key skills.
  • Identify and leverage data to drive and influence sustainable business decisions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience with both internal and external candidates through all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Contribute strongly as a key member of the Global Talent Acquisition Team.
  • Actively participate, as a member of the Ornua HR team on some broader HR projects and tasks as required.
  • Keep up to date with market best practices, embrace innovative ideas and strategies and share internally with HR colleagues and hiring managers.

Experience Required:

  • Currently leading end-to-end high-volume recruitment processes ‘in-house’
  • Experience of designing and conducting competency-based interviews and other selection methods
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Managing stakeholders and their expectations
  • Skilled in direct search techniques and online and social sourcing i.e. LinkedIn
  • Expertise using an ATS (knowledge of Success Factors is preferable)
  • Flexibility to travel, full driving licence is required.
  • Excellent working knowledge of recruitment processes, policies & systems.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees, stakeholders, candidates, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Bi-lingual English & Spanish would be a distinct advantage
