We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Learning and Development (L&D) Manager with 5-8 years of experience in managing learning programs, administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), project management, and instructional design. This role requires a creative, curious, and forward-thinking professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and has a strong learning mindset. The successful candidate will bring expertise in data analysis (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel), generative AI applications, and research, along with a proven track record of managing impactful learning solutions.

This is a US-based, remote-first role that involves regular interaction and collaboration with Oura colleagues in Finland and across the US. Role requires occasional travel. Oura has offices in San Francisco and San Diego; employees in New York and Boston gather regularly in co-working spaces. Occasional travel to Finland, may also be required for this role.

What you will do: 

Program Management:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of learning solutions 
  • Manage learning programs to align with organizational goals and employee development needs.
  • Lead end-to-end project management for L&D initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across global teams to support learning programs for diverse audiences

Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administration:

  • Serve as the LMS administrator, managing user accounts, platform updates, course uploads, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the LMS with other organizational systems and tools.
  • Regularly analyze LMS data to assess learner engagement and program effectiveness.

Instructional Design and Content Development:

  • Support development of engaging and impactful learning content for virtual, in-person, and blended learning environments.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to enhance content creation and learning experiences.
  • Research and curate external learning resources to support diverse learner needs.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use Tableau, LMS reports and Excel to analyze learning metrics and generate actionable insights for program improvement.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for L&D initiatives.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and visually engaging manner.

Innovative Learning Solutions:

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in L&D, including generative AI applications.
  • Design and pilot innovative learning solutions that enhance learner engagement and retention.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.

  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and related tools.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau or Excel, and data visualization.
  • Experience with generative AI applications and research methodologies.
  • Strong global experience, with an understanding of cross-cultural learning needs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1: $112,000 - $140,000 
  • Region 2: $100,000 - $125,000
  • Region 3: $94,000 - $117,000
