Role: Traffic and Insights Associate
Location: Hybrid work arrangement, based in India
Hours: Primarily Bengaluru noon to 9PM, with some rotational night shifts as needed
About the Role
As a Traffic and Insights Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our client service teams within the Yahoo Consumer organization and enhancing ad performance across multiple campaigns. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in campaign management, troubleshooting, and creative support. Your expertise in campaign optimization and performance insights will directly impact our clients' success and drive incremental revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution and QA: Provide creative support for campaign setup, conduct quality assurance checks, and manage third-party tags to ensure smooth and accurate execution.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve campaign and reporting issues for internal and external reporting platforms to maintain optimal performance.
Asset Management: Communicate ad specifications to clients, collect creative assets, and supply screenshots to account leads as needed.
Vendor Certification: Lead the certification process for new third-party vendors, ensuring compliance and smooth integration with existing systems.
Customized Reporting: Create customer-specific reports that offer insights into campaign performance, helping clients understand and improve results.
Optimization Recommendations: Analyze campaign data and provide actionable optimization strategies to improve ad performance and meet campaign goals.
Feature Requests: Identify and surface feature needs across platforms and tools, contributing to the continuous improvement of our ad tech capabilities.
Revenue Opportunities: Spot potential avenues for protecting or driving incremental revenue, aligning efforts to meet or exceed quarterly team KPI goals.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor level degree (marketing, advertising, or related field)
Experience: 2+ years in ad operations, campaign management, or a similar field with knowledge of ad platforms such as Yahoo Ads, Google Ad Manager, and related tools.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite; familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and web analytics tracking is a plus.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high accuracy in reporting, campaign setup, and troubleshooting.
Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues, drawing insights from data, proposing solutions, and executing optimizations in high-pressure situations.
Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work across teams to achieve collective goals while maintaining a client-first mindset.
