Field Support Services, Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Field Support Services Representative. In this role the person will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: 

 

  • Provides expert and second-tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians.
  • Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems.
  • Tests, trains, and fields support customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services.
  • Provides expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoots products, and modifies products to customer requirements.
  • Provides training to customers. Assists in the development of training material and product manuals. Travel is frequent and work is generally performed at the customer site.
  • Identifies failure trends and communicates effectively with manufacturing and engineering to eliminate or reduce reoccurring incidents.
  • Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of designated systems and services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School level plus some advanced training; Minimum of 3 years
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and repair, reading diagrams and schematics
  • Experience in customer service
  • Must be U.S. Citizen

Target Salary Range

$30,000 - $48,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
