Regional Recruiter

Summary

The Regional Recruiter will be responsible for hiring top talent, building, and sustaining solid relationships with hiring managers, and fulfilling all talent acquisition needs by managing the full life cycle recruiting process in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. 

 

This position is remote but will support both Field and Corporate positions as assigned and may need to travel (up to 10%). 

 

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).  

 

In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vison, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off. 

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting to support multiple lines of business and production facilities with a focus on salaried, exempt positions
  • Create exceptional and vigorous search strategies to identify and attract the highest caliber of talent
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Achieve measurable results that demonstrate improvement in hiring ration, i.e. applicants vs. hires, and ensure all required paperwork and documents are completed including application, references, background checks, etc. in accordance with OFCCP standards
  • Stay current on market trends, diversity recruiting, and utilize data to perform analyses to identify current and future talent needs
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting activities
  • Work across the organization with key stakeholders such as Human Resources, Compensation, and the Business to ensure a superior client and candidate experience

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent related work experience.  Previous experience in a recruiting role supporting production or manufacturing is preferred but not required.

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Two (2) years of progressive responsibilities in an HR role, at least one of those years in Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and HR software.
  • Exposure to AAP requirements as it applies to the recruitment, interviewing, selection process.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize multiple protocols and projects with competing demands on schedule.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization to provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of and a commitment to team performance.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
