Location: Remote

Travel: Possibly across US

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred

Description: 


PingWind is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ) Agile software development team. As a Mobile App Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of AHRQ applications and products. Your responsibilities will include full end-to-end delivery of mobile apps, maintaining and enhancing current applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software to our stakeholders and users.


Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications 

• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews

• Deliver responsive applications in required application programing interface integration

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to create user-friendly and visually appealing mobile interfaces

• Perform analytic data drill-down and testing primitive ideas to inform design decisions

• Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and security

• Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services

• Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure a smooth user experience

• Conduct testing, including unit, integration, and UI tests, to ensure app reliability

• Provide customer support for any mobile application installation problems

• Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, frameworks, and technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality software releases


Qualifications:


Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in mobile development frameworks such as XCode IDE with Cocoa, Objective-C, and Swift for iOS applications

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile applications

• Knowledge of mobile security best practices

• Familiarity with version control tools

• Ability to work in an Agile development environment

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• CSM or Agile experience preferred

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software
