Responsibilities

The Regional Manager of Human Resources will oversee a territory of hospitals to include California and Nevada. The Regional Manager of Human Resources will be responsible for formulating and supervising programs relative to selection, training, promotion, welfare, and other employer/employee relationships for multiple acute care hospital facilities. The Regional Manager will serve as a trusted liaison to the Corporate HR leadership team and is responsible for managing staffing, retention, and labor metrics; participating in interviews; developing personnel record forms; assist with advising with disputes and grievances; making recommendations necessary disciplinary actions; analyzes, classifies, and evaluates job requisitions within the hospitals. Additional functions include administering employee welfare and recreation services and serving as an adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.

Education and Work Experience

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in hospital management experience required.
  • Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques; training methods; and job analysis.
  • Familiar with wage and hour laws.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws including ERISA guidelines and accreditation standards.

    Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $92,560.00 to $150,141.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
