Job Description

We’re looking for a Director, Product Management to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team and lead the Documents Division. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems.

As a Director, Product Management, you have a wide-ranging, dynamic set of responsibilities. Your core function is to grow, develop, and lead a team of Product Managers that create and grow winning products for Procore. You will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of products that allow our customers to manage construction documents and related platform services throughout the entire project lifecycle, from preconstruction to closeout. This Director role will be responsible for a large scope of Procore’s most used platform and customer facing solutions that are critical for supporting our customers in all global markets. Internally and externally, you represent your product areas - you must lead, inspire, and drive confidence in everyone from Procore’s executive team, to Procore’s largest customers. This is a challenging role, where you will take ownership over business critical outcomes and develop best in class talent across the team. 

This position reports into the VP, Product Management and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a team of 10+ Product Managers, developing their skills and career paths while ensuring we achieve successful outcomes

  • Partner with Engineering and User Experience (UX) counterparts to enable healthy teams and to deliver outcomes across your product area 

  • Lead product vision and strategy development for your product area, growing existing opportunities and uncovering new opportunities to ensure overall execution and success of your product area

  • Evangelize product vision and strategy internally and externally, to everyone from Procore’s executive team to Procore’s largest customers. You’ll be the face of Procore Document Management. 

  • Become well-versed in the construction industry and its diverse challenges to guide and communicate the value you’re creating for our customers

  • Lead speaking engagements at industry events, trade shows, and internal Procore events to evangelize and clarify the opportunity and impact 

  • 15-20% travel required

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years in product management at an internet software company, with specific experience working on B2B SaaS applications 

  • 4+ years hiring and leading high performing product teams

  • Strong leadership skills – you’ll need to rally your team to follow your vision

  • Excellent organization skills to ensure that your team is focused and operating efficiently

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, MBA, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Deep and unrelenting customer focus, and an ability to effectively utilize research and testing within a customer-centric approach to product.

  • Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $233,360 - $320,870. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
