We're looking for an SMB Account Executive to join our fast-growing RingCentral Events team. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle sales, helping small and mid-sized companies transform their event strategy and reach using our industry-leading platform.
This is a quota-carrying role perfect for a hunter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Own the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, and close
Build pipeline through outbound strategies, warm leads, and cross-sell into RingCentral’s existing customer base
Deliver tailored product demos that speak to marketers, event leads, and revenue leaders
Collaborate with RingCentral AE’s and Solutions Engineers to scope the right package
Maintain clean and accurate forecasting in Salesforce
Utilize a consistent contact attempt process via phone, email, social media, and chat to follow-up, nurture, and qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns.
Stay informed about the industry and technologies to be a trusted resource to prospects and customers.
Develop and maintain daily plans to maximize phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to metrics, and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect types.
Be a strategic partner to customers—you're not just selling, you’re solving
2+ years of SaaS closing experience, ideally in SMB or Commercial segments
Strong discovery, storytelling, and consultative selling skills
Hunter mentality—you’re proactive, curious, and driven
Experience working with marketing decision-makers is a plus
Confident navigating the C-suite, with clear communication and presentation skills
Comfortable with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo
To succeed in this role, you must have experience in:
Outbound lead qualification
Demonstrating a hunter mentality
Familiarity with cloud-based software services (a plus)
Quickly learning and adapting to new technology
Thriving in a high-energy sales team environment as a team player
Exhibiting positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
Being quick and efficient with a computer (Salesforce.com experience required)
Establishing rapport quickly and effectively with VP/C-Level executives

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $92,400 and $171,600 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
