What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Frontend Team Leader to join the engineering team at Semperis.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Frontend Team Leader at Semperis, you will lead a talented team of frontend engineers in delivering exceptional user-facing experiences for our security and identity products. You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the frontend team, ensuring high-quality implementation, and fostering collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our frontend architecture, setting best practices, and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the frontend team, ensuring best practices in development, performance, and user experience.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of our frontend applications, ensuring scalability, robustness, and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to create engaging and visually appealing user interfaces.

  • Drive the implementation of new features and enhancements while maintaining the integrity of the existing codebase.

  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the frontend team.

  • Take ownership of the frontend development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and monitoring.

  • Work closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and optimize frontend-backend integration.

  • Ensure proper testing and quality assurance through unit and integration tests.

  • Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and career development.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience leading a frontend development team.

  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with expertise in one or more of the following frameworks: Angular, Vue (Vue 3 preferred), React, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of state management solutions like Redux or Pinia.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Proven ability to translate UX/UI designs (Figma) into functional and aesthetically appealing interfaces.

  • Experience in writing and executing unit tests and familiarity with modern testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, etc.).

  • Deep knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design principles.

  • Experience in architecting scalable and maintainable frontend applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex frontend issues.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop engineers.

  • Passion for staying updated with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and best practices.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building enterprise-grade products.

  • Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright.

  • Knowledge of build tools and deployment processes (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Babel).

  • Experience working in the cybersecurity or identity/security domain.

  • Prior experience working in an Agile development environment.
