We are currently seeking a dynamic Store Leader whose ambition is to build the year over year business and the local client base in order to take market share away from our competitors and to maximize our P+L.   The Leader we are seeking will also have a successful track record in acquiring and developing talent.      We expect each of our Store Leaders to create an environment where the team looks forward to coming to work and enjoys the relationships and trust they have developed with their colleagues.    In order to be a successful leader at SMCP, you will need to be inspirational with a passion for bringing out the best in people.

As a General Manager, you will accomplish the mission above by developing a robust business strategy touching upon People, Product,  and Planet utilizing a "people centric" approach and an "empathetic" leadership style.  Our Store Leaders approach the business like it's their own (entrepreneurial spirit), playing the role of head coach so that every team member believes in themselves and can achieve their full potential.  

Talent 

  • Need to be an excellent recruiter and can successfully woo candidates to our brand. 
  • Responsible for creating a positive work environment prioritizes retention. 
  • Has a passion for developing team members. 
  • Proactively monitors overall performance. 
  • Holds team accountable for the delivering results. 

Customer Service 

  • Is the ambassador for clienteling, building sales, and wardrobing clients from head to toe in order to build the local client base.  

KPI’s 

  • Achieves all KPI targets including:  conversion, UPT, average basket, appointment sales, inventory shortage results, staffing, etc.   Develops a robust business strategy 

Clienteling 

  • Successfully executes and gets results with the our clienteling program. 
  • Shows the team what clienteling truly looks like and how critical it is in order to build a thriving business. 

Operations 

  • To be an effective store leader at SMCP, you must be fully versed in both the front and back  of the house in order to be successful.  Operational duties tend to be very hands on. 

Relationships 

  • Develops effective relationships with all Corporate partners by interacting with them regularly.  The purpose of our Headquarters is to provide full support to our robust retail stores network. 
     

KEY INGREDIENTS - THE SUCCESSFUL STORE MANAGER CANDIDATE:  

  • 3+ years of prior supervisory experience preferably in luxury retail management - versed in Human Resources and People Development. 
  • Has potential client resources. 
  • Has potential talent resources. 
  • Solid Leadership skills 
  • Results-oriented 
  • Solid communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Solid analytical skills.
