The role

SoFi is looking for a Senior Product Manager for our Small Business product. In this role, you will be the product owner responsible for prioritizing, defining and building features that enable SoFi to both improve the conversion of existing applicants as well as set up their path to financial success.

This role is inherently cross-functional — you will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, User Research, Marketing, Operations, Risk, and Lantern Business Leads to set a product strategy, and define and prioritize features. This role is central to the success of SoFi’s Lantern segment. You will be expected to set ambitious goals, be gritty, and be accountable to results. You’ll play the critical role of bridging the technical and business worlds to deliver product enhancements that delight our users and drive our business forward.


What you’ll do:

  • Scale SoFi’s small business marketplace offering and lay the groundwork for future 1st and 3rd party products
  • Work with business stakeholders & external partners to integrate solutions & products to delight small business owners
  • Support landing page builds for paid marketing and go-to-market strategies
  • Own instrumentation and data for your product to drive deep understanding of key metrics to inform innovation and product plans
  • Prioritize backlogs and drive launches with your dedicated engineering teams
  • Experiment constantly to drive customer learnings and customer impact
  • Own optimization of web design and site architecture in collaboration with marketing teams to drive revenue and long-term web growth
  • Drive product solutions and enablement for scalable web and content strategy.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with consumer-facing software, especially in growth, marketing web pages, or SEO
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and startup experience ideal.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features by deadline
  • Data-driven approach, including experience leading experimentation, and end-to-end A/B testing
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Passion and empathy for your users! You do right by them, always

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on online affiliate marketing, lead generation, or consumer finance marketplaces
  • Subject matter expertise in consumer financial products, especially lending
  • Passion for FinTech and helping people get their money right
  • Experience with Contentful, Unbounce, or similar content and web tools 
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO driven design.
  • You’ve owned your own small business
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
