Job Description

Are you a dynamic talent acquisition leader, ready to lead and transform recruitment strategies for a global organization? Based in Pune, we're seeking a Lead Talent Acquisition for India to join our team and drive our hiring initiatives across multiple business units.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead a team of 5-10 talent partners, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Report into the Head Talent Acquisition AMEA and Europe and have a dotted line to the HR Heads of India Commercial and HR Head Pune Center.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Build relationships with and partner with senior leadership and HR to align recruitment with business objectives.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to drive process efficiency, automation where possible.
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize recruitment processes.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand across India.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR leadership roles with a focus on multi-country or regional talent acquisition.
  • Proven experience within a global, matrix organization.
  • Excellent understanding of cultural nuances, and talent market dynamics across the region.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams (remotely).
  • Proficiency in utilizing recruitment technology, applicant tracking systems, and data analytics to drive recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse cultural and organizational contexts.
  • Ability and willingness to drive change in complex matrixed environments, specifically in TA transformation to enable the development of new TA capabilities.

Additional Information

The role will require regular presence in our Pune Centre but will offer flexible working options. Syngenta has a significant presence in India and is headquartered in Pune with research stations spread across the length and breadth of the country.
