Senior B2B Email Marketing Manager

**This is an onsite position with relocation assistance available for non-local candidates.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Email & Marketing Automation Manager to take the lead in managing, optimizing, and scaling high-volume email marketing initiatives. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in marketing automation, system integration, and email authentication to ensure seamless program execution across ActiveCampaign, GMass, HubSpot, Salesforce, and other platforms. Your responsibilities will range from designing advanced workflows and leading revenue-driven email marketing initiatives to implementing best-in-class email deliverability protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Deliverability > 98%). The ideal candidate has proven experience in fast-paced B2B environments, unifying sales and marketing systems, supporting account-based sales, and ensuring that email marketing efforts consistently align with broader brand and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage end-to-end email email marketing initiatives, including strategy, segmentation, deployment, and performance analysis, using ActiveCampaign, GMass, and HubSpot.

  • Collaborate with content, design, and data analytics teams to align email marketing efforts with overall business objectives and brand messaging.

  • Develop and implement automated email workflows in HubSpot, ActiveCampaign & Salesforce based on behavioral triggers, campaign objectives, and adhoc initiatives.

  • Manage email deliverability for high-volume email initiatives (1M+ monthly), maintaining a 98%+ deliverability rate.

  • Implement and maintain email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) across all sending domains, minimizing authentication failures.

  • Execute IP warming strategies for new sending domains and dedicated IPs, achieving rapid and safe sender reputation establishment.

  • Monitor and optimize sender reputation scores, maintaining scores above 90 across all major ISPs.

  • Track and maintain bounce rates below 2% and spam complaint rates below 0.1% through proactive list hygiene and deliverability best practices.

  • Conduct regular email rendering tests across multiple email clients and devices, ensuring consistent user experience and minimizing display issues.

  • Configure and maintain a bi-directional syncs between HubSpot, Salesforce, and other platforms ensuring data consistency and reliability across platforms.

  • Build automated reporting dashboards for attribution, deliverability, and ROI, providing real-time performance insights for data-driven decision-making across sales and marketing.

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all email authentication configurations, automation workflows, and system integrations, facilitating knowledge transfer and troubleshooting.

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with revenue-driving email marketing in B2B, enabling you to design and implement complex, multi-touch campaigns.

  • You bring 5+ of advanced Salesforce & Hubspot expertise, with demonstrated success in unifying sales and marketing systems.

  • You have experience managing high-volume email programs (1M+ monthly sends), consistently achieving a 98% or higher deliverability rate.

  • You have a deep understanding of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

  • You're proficient in HTML and CSS for email development, creating responsive designs that are compatible with all major inbox placements.

  • You can troubleshoot workflow automation issues in Zapier, Salesforce and Hubspot.

  • You understand Javascript fundamentals and REST API, enabling you to create custom integrations that expand marketing capabilities.

  • You've worked in marketing teams that support account-based sales initiatives.

  • You understand creating and analyzing A/B tests consistently to improve email open rates, click-through rates, and conversion-rate optimization through data-driven optimizations.

  • You're proficient with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI or Domo, developing real-time reporting that clearly communicate performance to stakeholders and team members.
