Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

Our internship gives you a hands-on look at how businesses run—covering budgets, labor analysis, efficiency improvements, and planning. You'll work with experienced professionals, solve real problems, and help make operations run smoother. If you’re curious about how things work and want to build valuable skills for your future, this is the perfect opportunity

This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Partner with peers and leadership to learn S&OP
  • Learn about the latest technology in citrus production
  • Lead and deliver an operations improvement project
  • Learn the fundamental of continuous improvement
  • Update and develop departmental standard operation procedures
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

  • Must be a current Wonderful Scholar
  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related
  • Must upload a resume, professional reference, and cover letter with your application 
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Pay Rate: $18.50/Hour
