This role will act as a key Leader of the Product Management / Solutions team at TransUnion and is responsible for leading the strategic direction for our Consumer products for Direct to Consumer (D2C) across credit monitoring and identity protection products. This role will partner and collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, UX, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other key matrix functions at TransUnion to drive the consumer product strategy forward. The Director of Consumer Capabilities will have the opportunity to lead our modernization strategy for our products, a strategic shift for monetization, and explore an approach inclusive of freemium offerings for our subscription businesses.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Product Management / Technology Management / Program Management in consumer facing industries in the US

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA / Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience in leading and managing teams including direct reports

  • Demonstrate ability to influence, collaborate and communicate effectively across the organization

  • Ability to act in a fast-moving environment in a matrix structure

  • Drive to make independent decisions as a thought leader to accelerate innovation

Impact You'll Make:

  • Lead a single Direct to Consumer product go-to-market strategy for TU’s suite of products across credit monitoring and identity protection

  • Understand market segment – customer fit to drive strategic product direction of TU’s consumer products

  • Partner with internal business units at TransUnion to identify growth opportunities, data sets, and product capabilities to harness and offer enhanced value in the marketplace.

  • Integrate a multi-channel approach across web, mobile, offline and phone channels to offer products to consumers

  • Pursue a product development approach with internal TU teams, corporate priorities and / or external partners to bring this strategy to life.

  • Oversight of Product Roadmap, monitoring, delivery and performance of third-party technology providers

  • Ensure legal, compliance and regulatory obligations are met and all products meet / exceed requirements

  • Key to this role would be to adapt and prioritize tasks effectively to meet shifting priorities and deadlines

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150,100.00 - $225,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
