Our Infrastructure team has been helping the largest infrastructure clients across Australia with their complex projects. We have a new role for a Cost Control  Systems to help our Infrastructure and Defence projects in Adelaide, who can lead the teams across the full lifecycle of project through excellent interface management and stake holder management.

Job Description

The main purpose of the cost control and systems expertise support to senior members of the team. Secondary purpose is to support the cost lead:

  • Cost control systems development and sustainment including data management
  • Accurate and timely completion of tasks as requested/ required from line manager (Director)
  • Provide support to the cost lead as required
  • Assist in integration of the cost management system and cost data into the project controls function and general reporting
  • Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Defence or Infrastructure experience preferred
  • Proficient in the use in cost software – CMS | EcoSys | Aconex
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently

Qualifications

  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to work in Adelaide.
  • 10+ years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years working in a Cost Control systems  role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Control and Project Controls.
  • Experience working in the infrastructure (marine, ship yards, civil) and the Defence sector. 
  • Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery.
  • Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including coordination and communication.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
