As an RN PACU at Dignity Health - California Hospital, your primary responsibilities include overseeing the recovery of patients who have undergone anesthesia, monitoring their vital signs, ensuring their comfort, and providing essential post-operative care. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to guarantee a smooth transition from the surgical suite to the recovery room, making sure every patient receives the highest level of care during their recovery period.

To qualify for the RN PACU position at Dignity Health - California Hospital, candidates must be registered nurses with a current license to practice in California. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in a PACU or similar setting, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Basic Dysrhythmia are mandatory. Additionally, to comply with local regulations, LA City Fire Safety Training needs to be completed within 90 days of hire.

The work schedule for the RN PACU at Dignity Health - California Hospital involves 12-hour shifts on a per diem basis.
