As the Senior Manager, Supplier Management at Apellis Pharmaceuticals, you'll be at the forefront of clinical supply chain operations, working remotely from anywhere in the USA. This dynamic position allows you to interface with diverse teams across Supply Chain, Quality, CMC Pharmaceutical Development, and various external partners, making sure that clinical trial supplies are manufactured efficiently at our Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). We’re looking for someone with proven experience in managing both Sponsor Clinical Supply Chain and CMO Supply Chain within the biotech or pharmaceutical industries. Your key responsibilities will revolve around managing production schedules to ensure timely deliveries, resolving operational issues like production delays, and guiding external partners with technical and quality support. A critical aspect of your role will include coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop Supply Production Plans and maintain necessary safety stock. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy wearing multiple hats, this position is just for you. You'll also be able to showcase your project management skills and your attention to financial details when developing budgets related to CMOs.
