Events and Field Marketing

About Assembled

Assembled builds the infrastructure that underpins exceptional customer support, empowering companies like CashApp, Etsy, and Robinhood to deliver faster, better service at scale. With solutions for workforce management, BPO collaboration, and AI-powered issue resolution, Assembled simplifies the complexities of modern support operations by uniting in-house, outsourced, and AI-powered agents in a single operating system. Backed by $70M in funding from NEA, Emergence Capital, and Stripe, and driven by a team of experts passionate about problem-solving, we’re at the forefront of support operations technology.

From Day 1, we’ve been lucky to build for the most amazing group of CX professionals, and we’re looking for a skilled marketer to take our events presence to the next level. As a key player on the Demand Generation team, you’ll build in-persona and digital programs that inspire and delight users and prospects alike. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Customer, and Product to build/sponsor events, partnerships, and experiences that put Assembled on the map. This is not your average field marketing role, and is intentionally designed to give the right person meaningful, impactful and growth-driving scope.

Things you’ll get to do:

  • Define our approach to brining an AI-first product to community of users and prospects, leveraging in-personal/digital events, forums or Slack, and more

  • Build the roadmap for community, and make the business case for relevant investment and resourcing

  • Drive full-funnel community-based activities across in-person and digital platforms in partnership with Demand Generation and Sales (with pipeline and deal acceleration as the goal)

  • Develop a comprehensive field marketing strategy, and drive seamless execution in partnership with key cross-functional partners

  • Proactively identify and execute experiments (events, campaigns, ABM-related tactics) that result in deeper community engagement and, as a result, meaningful awareness of Assembled

Things we’d love for you to bring:

  • You have 5+ years of having seen it before, having done it before, and knowing how to steward event experiences that drive tangible outcomes

  • You see the bigger picture understanding that we are working toward a holistic goal that has a lot of moving parts and you are always looking for new ways to improve

  • You’re a super-connector and people-person who can flex in collaboration with any kind of team, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success and Support. You have a history of rock-solid cross-functional relationships

  • You're resourceful at your core. This means thriving in uncertainty, showing grit in the face of roadblocks, and finding new, better ways to get the job done

  • You know how to manage the balance between delegation and execution, and can easily bring people together to achieve big outcomes

  • You're unafraid of the details, and are well-versed in organizing allthethings to get the important stuff right

  • You’re motivated by people, what they need, and how they use our product. You know how to leverage your understanding of our users and prospects to design world-class experiences for them

  • You're excited about having a positive impact on customer support teams. Knowledge about or experience in this world isn’t required, but it is welcome!

  • You’re a kind, collaborative, empathetic, and flexible person who is down to get in the boat and help us row!

At Assembled, we’re reimagining workforce management for the AI era. We help the world’s most customer-obsessed brands—like Stripe, Robinhood, and Etsy—scale support with precision, empathy, and a whole lot of intelligence. Now, we’re bringing AI front and center to that mission, and we need a Field Marketing Manager who’s ready to take the stage with us.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll own our entire events ecosystem—digital experiences, tradeshow moments, and bespoke hosted gatherings—and make sure every touchpoint reflects the ambition, energy, and clarity of our brand.

You’ll bring our AI vision to life on the ground and online. You’ll collaborate with top-tier partners and our best-in-the-business customers to build stories that stick. And most importantly, you’ll make sure every event moves the needle on awareness, engagement, and pipeline.

What You’ll Drive

→ Scalable Digital Experiences

  • Build a digital events strategy from the ground up: webinars, fireside chats, thought-leader panels, podcasts—whatever helps us connect.

  • Spotlight the voice of the customer and the voice of our brand through smart content and timely topics.

  • Make AI real: turn product updates, use cases, and industry trends into moments that spark curiosity and drive action.

→ Industry Trade Shows with Impact

  • Lead Assembled’s presence at key industry events - from high-value booths to main stage speaking slots.

  • Craft interactive, buzzworthy experiences that bring Assembled Assist, our AI solution, to life onsite.

  • Work closely with sales and solutions engineering to drive pre-show outreach and post-show follow-up, ensuring we’re capturing real ROI.

→ White-Glove Hosted Events

  • Curate intimate, high-touch events for our most strategic prospects and customers: think CX dinners, partner roundtables, and exclusive executive gatherings.

  • Collaborate with sales, SDRs, and our campaign team to identify invitees, build messaging, and create unforgettable experiences.

  • Own the end-to-end experience - from the first “save the date” to curated follow-up that drives conversion.

Who You Are

  • 5–7+ years in B2B event or field marketing, ideally in SaaS or enterprise tech

  • A full-stack marketer: you can set a strategic vision, then roll up your sleeves to make it happen

  • A natural brand storyteller who sweats the details and knows how to make a brand stand out

  • A builder who loves working cross-functionally - with sales, partners, product marketing, and customers

  • Deeply curious about AI and excited to evangelize its impact on support and CX

  • Energized by in-person events, digital storytelling, and making every touchpoint matter

  • Comfortable in Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and event management tools

Why This Role, Why Now

We’re at an inflection point - our product is evolving quickly, our AI offering is breaking through, and our customers are more excited than ever. We need someone who can harness that momentum and turn events into a strategic growth lever. You’ll be the connective tissue between our vision and the people we want to reach.

Let’s make some noise.
