The Design Director will collaborate with the editorial, visuals, and fashion teams, as well as the creative directors, to execute W’s strategy and vision across print, digital, video, and social media. The ideal candidate is able to work at a conceptual level while also being detail-oriented, managing multiple projects in a highly collaborative environment. This position reports directly to the Editor in Chief and oversees a team of two designers.

Responsibilities include crafting stunning print layouts for covers and stories, managing design quality across all mediums, and collaborating with our visuals team to ensure the best possible aesthetic. An eye for contemporary art and trends in fashion and design can add that extra edge to your approach. This full-time position, which reports directly to the Editor in Chief, is being offered at a competitive salary of $100,000 - $125,000 annually, with a requirement for in-office presence at least three days a week.
