Job Title: Instant Payments Product Manager

Overview

The product management team of Instant Payments is part of the Corporate Bank division of Deutsche Bank and is passionate about creating value for customers and stakeholders by delivering real-time payment solutions globally that are user-friendly, reliable, and scalable. As an Instant Payments Product Manager with focus on the America’s region, you will participate in the (Global) product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for new or existing products. Your role encompasses a broad set of activities required to get the product and related features to market and to support it thereafter. You will participate in business case development and business analysis to identify how value is created, specific price points and analysis of market sizing / potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Work in close cooperation with other teams, such as Product & Sales and other corporate functions covering IT and Operations but also with Clients and Interbank Forums, to maintain and develop the product offering
  • Define, document, and implement all underlying business requirements and market problems ensuring  compliance with Deutsche Bank policies, understand the Instant Payment Risk Profile, Support the regular Risk review of Product in the respective Markets
  • Manage Dependencies, Risks and Issues in close interaction with the respective domain & Tribe Leads

Skills You’ll Need

  • Hands-on Product management experience, with an exposure to managing product life-cycle, delivery, risk, governance, commercialization of products and experience in the development of a product
  • Capable of independent and pragmatic pro-active work style, guaranteeing high degree of solutions and delivery achievements
  • Stakeholder management; the ability to built deep relationships with direct stakeholders and indirect stakeholders internal as well as externa

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience in working on Payments products, with good understanding of front-to-back payments processes, market and regulatory trends on real-time payments in the America region and an appreciation of corporate and retail use-cases for real-time payments
  • Be a team player with good interpersonal skills willing to take initiative pro-actively
  • Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Other languages is a plus; Portuguese & German the best ones)
  • Experience having worked in Agile delivery setups at scale (preferably experience in scrum)

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $140,000 to $217,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.  Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
