Talent Management – Summer 2025 Intern

Location: Remote

Duration: Summer 2025 (20-40 hrs / week, 12 weeks)

Department: People Team

Position Overview:

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a motivated and strategic Summer Intern to join our Talent Management team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a national healthcare organization that is transforming the way urgent care is delivered.

As a Talent Management Intern, you will support key projects aimed at enhancing employee experience, talent development, organizational design, coaching, and leadership development. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams within the People Team-including Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition-to deliver meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning & Development
    • Conduct internal/external research and a literature review to recommend and create new training materials and learning resources that improve our approach to leadership development across the organization.
    • Assist and support live training sessions, collect feedback, and support continuous improvement.
    • Evaluate learning impact through surveys and other data collection methods to make recommendations for improvements and to demonstrate ROI.

  • AI Application and Use
    • Conduct external and internal research to support GoHealth leadership in determining use and application of AI in areas across the organization to balance both performance and risk.
    • Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for AI integration, conduct research on best practices for AI adoption, and provide guidance to leadership with practical recommendations.
    • Create training materials and workshops to educate leaders on AI tools and techniques and assist in the development of AI policies and guidelines to ensure ethical use.

  • Talent Management Initiatives
    • Provide support for career development initiatives and performance management processes.
    • Participate in research and brainstorming for new programs that promote growth, internal mobility, and team development.
    • Help maintain documentation and resources related to talent programs and leadership development efforts.

  • Data & Analytics
    • Support data collection and analysis related to employee engagement, retention, and performance.
    • Help organize and prepare key HR/People metrics, such as turnover rates or survey results, in a clear and digestible format.
    • Assist in generating insights and summaries to help inform talent-related decisions and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing Masters and/or PhD degree in I-O Psychology, HR, Business Administration, or related field is a minimum requirement.
  • Background in studying/applying theories of talent development, behavioral science, coaching/consulting, organizational theory, and/or human resources to a business setting.
  • Passion for implementing and supporting talent management and employee engagement programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure success.
  • Ability to adapt to complex stakeholder relationships and implement high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and HR best practices.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations practices, employment laws, and regulations.
