Talent Acquisition Specialist - Construction

Path Construction is seeking a qualified Construction Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our organization in Arlington Heights, IL. We are a rapidly growing commercial general contractor with offices in Arlington Heights, IL; Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ, with projects ongoing throughout the United States.

Duties for a Construction Recruiter include:

  • Recruit utilizing multiple platforms (Linkedin, Indeed, etc.)
  • Evaluate online applications
  • Post new positions
  • Manage the flow of candidates
  • Phone screen applicants
  • Schedule interviews
  • Interview applicants
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Manage a data base of applicants
  • Constant follow ups with applicants/prospects
  • Draft offer letters
  • Attend weekly meetings with Vice President, CFO, and Divisions Managers on staffing needs
  • Plan, organize and attend recruiting events such as college career fairs
  • Plan and organize college guest lecture presentations
  • Provide new ideas to enhance recruiting and onboarding
  • Provide new ideas to enhance culture
  • Assist in new hire orientation
  • Construction recruiting experience or Construction knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Confident and approachable
  • Provides constant follow ups
  • Organized

  • Ability to switch from task to task
