Inbound Sales Operations Associate (Contract)

Patreon is a media and community platform where creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. Over 300k creators are cultivating fandoms and building their businesses each month. Creators can offer free memberships to fans looking to explore more of their work, paid memberships to give access to exclusive media and community, or sell directly to fans with Shops.

Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:

  • 8B+ earned since Patreon's inception

  • 30M free new memberships in the first year of launching that option, and

  • 10M fans paying each month for exclusive access to creators' work and community.

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Inbound Sales Operations Associate to support our mission

This role is based in San Francisco or Remote with a preference for applicants based in SF, NYC, or LA. Applicants must be able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model. Candidates must be able to work during USA time zones that overlap with our team's Eastern and Pacific Time zones.

The Inbound Sales Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting scaled outreach strategy to hundreds of creators that sign up on Patreon everyday. This role will support all different stages of the email outreach campaigns, from campaign strategy > execution > reporting.

This role will support the Inbound Creator Acquisition team meet and exceed its growth goals in 2025!

About the Role

  • Campaign Strategy - Work with the Inbound Acquisition lead and xfn teams capture insights and learning and build upon best practices and processes around who / when / what campaigns the creators receive.

  • Campaign Design - Work with Design, PMM and Creator Acquisition team to create and test different email copies that help identify what messaging work best

  • Campaign Execution - Use a scaled outreach tool to send out emails to different segments of creators

  • Reporting - Work with the Inbound Acquisition Lead to set up reporting of key metrics associated with the campaign

  • Communication - Summarize and publish key findings from the campaigns to relevant audiences. Make a Stop / Start / Pause / Modify decision based on the findings

  • Optimization - Work on continuously identify areas of opportunity to streamline and optimize

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in sales/marketing operations roles, with specific experience around sending email outreach campaigns

  • Data-tracking and reporting: Compiling campaign performance metrics and streamlining reporting

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, effective at facilitating open and sometimes difficult community/customer conversations with a positive, solutions-oriented outlook.

  • Organized and detail-oriented: Able to sequence tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Superfan of creator and internet culture: Direct experience with creators or as a creator is a nice-to-have
