The opportunity

Pet parents across Australia have come to love Pet Circle for a lot of reasons. One reason is our incredible range of products, the largest pet supplies range in Australia. The second reason is they can trust our specialist knowledge to give them all the information they need to buy the right things for their furry friends. 

As part of the Merchandising team, you’ll be integral to building on those reasons why our customers love us. Our range will multiply in size, and our specialist knowledge will only get stronger. You’ll be directly responsible for ensuring that our customers are provided with accurate, informative and engaging information as they navigate our website.

• Work directly with our Category operations Team Lead and suppliers to prepare products to go-live in our backend system
• Actively manage our product pages to adhere to our “perfect product page” standards, including imagery, setting e-comm attributes, and product information
• Absorb and action feedback directly from our customer service, vet, and operations teams to continuously improve the onsite presentation of our products
• Continuously refresh all product content to ensure it is current, accurate, relevant and aligned with digital merchandising and content strategy
• Report any bugs or anomalies to our product team to ensure prompt resolution
• Identify gaps in our product range that meet customer needs and provide recommendations to Category Managers
• Maintain a strong understanding of our key competitors onsite changes and implications on merchandising

• Intuitive and practical approach to understanding how things work; you’re resourceful, curious and are driven to find answers and solutions
• Continuous improvement mindset, proactively improving the customer experience before issues arise
• Strong computer skills having worked with Excel (pivot tables and VLookUps), Gmail and other online software platforms (any exposure to web development / graphic design would be an advantage)
• Comfort in working directly with external suppliers and maintaining professional relationships
• Work effectively in a team environment and being comfortable with feedback
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask
• Self motivated
• Exceptional attention to detail

Role Location

Our Philippines team are highly autonomous and empowered to do their best work remotely - so you will be working from your home office. You should have a good home office set-up and a reliable internet connection.
