PPCCC is a trusted provider of high-quality, affordable reproductive health care along California’s Central Coast. Each year, PPCCC provides 35,000 people on the central coast with health care services; including sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, birth control, breast and cervical cancer screenings, vasectomies, and safe and legal abortion care at our six health center locations. PPCCC also provides comprehensive sexuality education programs to help adults and teens make healthy decisions, prevent unintended pregnancies, and avoid sexually transmitted infection.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for accounts payable processing, affiliate’s bi-weekly payroll, and cash deposits. Assists the Director of Finance with monthly financial statements and year-end audit schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Ensures invoices are processed timely and appropriately, per the organization’s policies.
· Routes invoices through an electronic invoice system.
· Reconciles vendor monthly statements with payments.
· Works directly with vendors on payment/invoice issues.
· Moves data between purchasing, credit card and invoicing system and accounting system.
· Generates checks on a weekly basis, creates check register, notes ACH payments, and obtains signatures.
· Works collaboratively with Human Resources to ensure accurate and timely preparation of bi-weekly payroll and final checks for employees as needed.
· Reviews payroll time and attendance reports for accuracy and supervisor approval.
· Assists the Director of Finance with year-end audit schedules and inventories.
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of healthcare-related experience preferred
· Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Associate’s degree in a related field or High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of 1 year of related accounting experience.
· Experience with accounting software and online platforms preferred
· Previous Payroll Processing experience preferred.
· ADP Workforce Management experience is a plus.

Each position has a salary based on market value and the organization’s pay levels. The starting salary for this position is $ 33.00/hour with an opportunity for an increase after six months of employment. As part of our commitment to pay equity, PPCCC does not negotiate salaries.
