Reporting to the Global Head of Organization Design & Effectiveness, this position will lead and/or support designing, implementing, and optimizing project management practices that will contribute to the achievement of the company's short- and long-term goals.  

The incumbent will contribute by providing People & Culture (P&C) strategic advice and implementation support across the project management lifecycle (i.e. milestone creation, risk and mitigation planning, enterprise reporting, etc.) whilst ensuring alignment to Sanofi’s global strategy and culture. 

Acting as a trusted project manager to People & Culture (P&C), Business leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs), the incumbent will provide guidance and implementation support on various programs, enterprise transformation, and culture development. This role will animate activities to provide the infrastructure to develop and execute program initiatives across the organization which may include one or more Global Business Units/Functions (GBU/GFs) or geographies. As a member of the P&C Strategy and Portfolio CoE, the incumbent will be expected to work in close partnership with business leaders, project teams, and the rest of the P&C community.   

The incumbent will be detail oriented, preferably knowledgeable about project management phases and execution, managing across complex programs, and have knowledge or experience with people & culture (human resources). Previous experience across a mix of global, regional, and country roles is highly preferred.

 Main Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and Collaborate with Stakeholders: Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with key project or business/function leaders, serving as a reliable advisor for P&C initiatives. Additionally, work with stakeholders to co-create initial project plans for sustained success, facilitate stakeholder meetings to achieve key decisions, and regularly provide updates and status throughout the project.  

  • Deliver Project Management Support: Provide effective project management support to P&C initiatives, maintaining a focus on delivering a positive experience to team members from the business or function, and achieving strategic outcomes. 

  • Develop and Implement Project Management Plans: Plan and deliver project management activities, in partnership with other key teams (i.e. Talent, Learning, Finance), as well as reporting to various stakeholders. 

  • Apply Leading Project Management Practices: Utilize project management tools and methodologies, including milestone tracking, status reporting, deliverables follow-up, and issue/risk management, to ensure successful execution of initiatives. 

  • Monitor and Measure Effectiveness: Use data and feedback to track progress, analyze effectiveness, and recommend mitigation plans. 

  • Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Gather feedback and brainstorm with others on enhancements to project management assets by integrating lessons learned.  

About You  

  • Bachelor’s degree.  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally working on people & culture initiatives. 

  • A blend of consulting and/or in-house/industry work experience preferred 

  • Knowledgeable in project management methodologies and tools, including reporting tools 

  • Ability to manage initiatives in a cross-functional organization while being flexible and adaptable to work in ambiguous situations. 

  • Ability to work successfully in multicultural teams and to build and maintain strong relationships with key local and global stakeholders. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to clearly articulate key messages to a variety of audiences. 

  • Ability to practice efficient time management and coordinate tasks, working in an international environment across time zones. 

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with business acumen. 

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

  • Fluent in English; French is a plus

$125,250.00 - $180,916.66
